How It All Began
Our story started in 2017, with a spark and a squat rack. Our paths unexpectedly crossed at a gym on South Broadway, where dumbbells weren’t the only things being lifted…..hearts were too. From day one, we were drawn to each other’s energy, passion, and drive…..and let’s be honest, a great set of biceps doesn’t hurt! Since then, we’ve been inseparable, spotting each other in the gym and in life, for over eight amazing years. Fitness brought us together, but love has made us unstoppable.

The Moment That Changed Everything
Our love story was forever solidified the day our son, August Lohr Hartman, came into the world. From that moment on, we knew that we were a family in every sense of the word. August made us more than just a couple in love, he made us a team, and life has only gotten better since.

A Piece of Land & A Proposal
A few years ago, we bought a beautiful piece of property in Huntleigh, Missouri, where we have since started to build our forever home. Just days after closing on the property, Chris planned something unforgettable. With the help of Auggie and a few close friends, he got down on one knee and proposed, right on the land where our future will unfold. It was heartfelt and absolutely perfect.

The “I Do”
We officially tied the knot, at the Saint Louis County Courthouse, between a great workout and school pick-up, on a Thursday…..in our gym clothes. Nothing fancy, but a memory that will last a lifetime.

Eat, Drink, and Be Married
We believe in living loud (with tons of music), loving hard, and laughing often. Whether we’re lifting weights, chasing after Auggie, or dancing at our favorite concert, we do it together.
It’s time to celebrate in style! We are excited to finally gather with our family and friends, dress up, say our vows, and share this incredible moment with all of you. September 5, 2025 is about honoring the love and commitment that began with such a simple "I do" and continuing the journey with a full heart, full dance floor, and full glasses to “Cheers!”
Let's all Eat, Drink, and be Merry — the best is yet to come!
